Old Time Radio Players join the first ever

Caribou Island lighthouse - shown above in website header* - in Lake Superior is one of Canada's most remote and beautiful structures of its kind in the country. Grandparents Art and Mary Hurley and their children have a shared history with Caribou.
On the other side of the family, there's a shared history with World War II. Grandparents Henry and Mildred Osborne spent difficult days on their farm in Echo Bay, Ontario near Sault Ste. Marie, worrying about their children and their spouses who were in various branches of military service.
Broadcasting, the way is was, is preserved by the Old Time Radio Players, Sault Station as a tribute to local and area broadcasters now 'on the air' in Sky Studio.
Northern Ontario was built in part and is maintained by a special kind of aviation. And, forest fires have and continue to be a part of life in this part of the province.
